PSO banner

PokerSchoolOnline offers its students the very best of learning opportunities and to support and encourage members to play in the big live events.

Win $50,000 worth of sponsorships to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events

PokerSchoolOnline Live Tour There will be 20 PSO LIVE TOUR Invitational tournaments held on a monthly basis within the schedule of some of the major tournaments that are going on in the brick and mortar casinos. Anyone can play in these events, but only the top finishing PSO member will be able to play in the PSO Grand LIVE TOUR Final.

There are also opportunities to qualify for a seat in the Grand Final in the PokerSchoolOnline Cardroom via The Big One 5 promotion and 12 members (max) will qualify. There will be a (Max) of 50 members in the Grand Live Tour Final.

The top 3 winners of The Grand LIVE TOUR Final will get:

  • 1st Place = $25,000 Sponsorship to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events.
  • 2nd Place = $15,000 Sponsorship to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events.
  • 3rd = $10,000 Sponsorship to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events.

$50,000 Sponsorship to The World Poker Tour and World Series of Poker Events. (1st = $25,000, 2nd = $15,000, 3rd = $10,000)

The PSO LIVE TOUR starts in January! There will be many PSO LIVE TOUR Invitational tournaments held on a monthly basis within the schedule of some of the major tournaments that are going on in the brick and mortar casinos. There will be a PokerSchoolOnline representative present at each PSO Invitational so that you can register with them, and report your bust out position.

The events are open for anyone to participate, but we are going to award the highest placing PSO member in each named PSO Invitational live event 250 PSO Sponsorship points and an entry into the PSO Grand LIVE TOUR Final held in January 2006.

SP = Sponsorship Points, when a school member has collected 500 SP or more they can be converted into a real money buy-in for $500 or more to any poker tournament at a brick and mortar casino in the world.

PSO members can play in as many LIVE PSO Invitational events as they wish. If you place highest in more than one PSO Invitational event, you will still receive 250 PSO Sponsorship points for each live event you placed highest in, but you will receive only one entry into the Grand LIVE TOUR Final (thereby decreasing the overall number of players in the Grand LIVE TOUR Final).

Likewise, if you already won a seat to the Grand Final via the Big One promotion online (see 'Qualify for the Grand LIVE TOUR Final online at PokerSchoolOnline' near bottom of page), you are still eligible to play in and place highest in multiple PSO Invitational events, as well as re-qualify in other Big One finals. But again you will only receive one Grand Final seat.

Procedure at PSO Invitationals
There will be a representative from PokerSchoolOnline at each PSO Invitational and you will have to make yourself known to them, and the fact you are playing in the Invitational event, so that you can be monitored for your finishing position. If there are a number of you arranging to meet at the invitationals then coffee time or just a get together at a meeting point can be pre arranged. The representative will be handing out PokerSchoolOnline caps, so at a glance across the tournament room they will be able to see who is still in.

The PSO Grand LIVE TOUR Final will be held during the PokerSchool convention (Venue and dates to be announced). The winner of this PSO Grand LIVE TOUR Final will receive a $25,000 Sponsorship to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events. 2ND Place = $15,000 Sponsorship to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events. 3rd = $10,000 Sponsorship to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events. There is a maximum number of 50 players in the Grand PSO LIVE TOUR Final.

All members redeeming their sponsorship points for WPT or WSOP events will agree to represent PokerSchoolOnline by the wearing of suitable merchandise.

Payout table for Grand LIVE TOUR Final

  • 1st = $25,000 Sponsorship to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events
  • 2nd = $15,000 Sponsorship to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events
  • 3rd = $10,000 Sponsorship to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events.

There is an ongoing promotion that is run at PokerSchoolOnline called The Big One, and PSO hold 3 main Big One Finals per year, the Spring, the Summer and the Winter. The players that make the final table of each of these Big One finals will be invited back to play in a knock out tournament, the following Saturday at 3.00pm CDT, and the top 4 places will all win a seat in the Grand LIVE TOUR Final.
